The Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) in Kandla has embarked on impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives to support national and community development. One of these initiatives involves providing nutrition support to 334 tuberculosis patients from Gandhidham and Anjar talukas as part of the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. The program aims to enhance the well-being of patients through monthly nutrition kits over six months, with a total cost of Rs 14.03 lakh. Additionally, DPA conducted a Green Hydrogen training program in collaboration with the Gandhidham Collegiate Board, focusing on educating participants about hydrogen as a clean and renewable energy source. This initiative aligns with India's green energy vision and underlines DPA's commitment to sustainable development, covering areas such as health, education, environment, and social upliftment. Furthermore, DPA reiterated its commitment to sustainability on World Environment Day, emphasizing efforts to 'Beat Plastic Pollution' and implementing green port initiatives for a cleaner maritime ecosystem.
