Australia's first whole-of-city renewable hydrogen project, Hydrogen Park Gladstone, has been successfully operating for over six months since November 2024. The project is facilitated by the Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) and supported by the Queensland Government. By blending renewable hydrogen with natural gas, the facility has delivered an up to ten per cent renewable gas blend to approximately 700 local homes and businesses in Gladstone. This achievement marks a significant milestone in Australia's renewable energy landscape.
