HDF Energy, a global leader in hydrogen power solutions, has partnered with Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) in Việt Nam to develop green hydrogen energy projects for powering remote islands in southern Việt Nam. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Hà Nội during French President Emmanuel Macron's visit, highlighting the cooperation between France and Việt Nam in sustainable energy. The collaboration includes technical and feasibility studies, site identification, coordination with local authorities, and investment and engineering resource alignment. The partnership aims to accelerate the clean energy transition in Việt Nam, particularly on off-grid islands managed by EVNSPC, by providing continuous electricity supply at reduced costs compared to diesel-generated power.
