The delivery and operation ceremony for the second batch of hydrogen-powered sanitation vehicles in Anhui province took place in Jin'an District, Lu'an City, where Tomorrow Hydrogen Energy Company handed over the keys to the new vehicles to the Lu'an subsidiary of Fulongma Group. These 18-mt hydrogen-powered sanitation sweeper trucks are a product of collaboration between the two entities and feature a high-performance fuel cell system that enables rapid cold starts at minus 30℃. With a single-charge driving range exceeding 400 kilometers, these vehicles eliminate range anxiety, adapt to cross-district operations, and achieve zero emissions throughout their life cycle.
The vehicles operate in a three-mode collaborative process of 'sweeping, washing, and suction,' delivering high cleaning capacity and efficiency. They offer cost savings and increased operational efficiency compared to international first-tier brands. Additionally, the vehicles have a personalized traffic light start-stop mode that adjusts operations dynamically to achieve a low-energy consumption mode, resulting in reduced operational energy costs and overall energy consumption.
Anhui province has been actively expanding hydrogen energy application scenarios since launching its first hydrogen-powered sanitation demonstration in Jin'an District in April 2023. The initial vehicle has shown impressive results, with reduced carbon emissions and operational efficiency gains. The hydrogen-powered vehicles have an energy conversion efficiency of 60% and outperform traditional fuel-powered and BEV sanitation vehicles. Their environmental adaptability, zero emissions, low noise operation, low-temperature performance, and quick refueling make them highly favored by users.
