In a significant development, Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL), part of the Gautam Adani-led Adani Group, has secured a substantial interstate transmission project worth Rs 1,600 crore in Maharashtra. This new project has propelled AESL's order book to a remarkable sum of Rs 61,600 crore. The undertaking in Maharashtra entails the development of infrastructure with a substation capacity of 3,000 MVA, aligning with India's goals of energy self-reliance and sustainability. The Adani Group further expanded its portfolio by winning a Rs 2,800 crore power transmission project in Gujarat. This project is anticipated to supply green electrons for the production of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia in Mundra. The Gujarat initiative includes enhancing the Navinal electrical substation, establishing a 75 km transmission line connecting it to the Bhuj substation, and incorporating 150 cKM of transmission lines along with 3,000 MVA of transformation capacity. This strategic move enhances AESL's overall transmission infrastructure to 25,928 cKM and 87,186 MVA, signaling a significant advancement in the company's operations. The projects were secured through a competitive bidding process, cementing AESL's position in the industry.
