Ambitions to establish a significant hydrogen production facility in North Wales have progressed with the acquisition of additional land adjoining the Holyhead Hydrogen Hub site. The extended 24-acre site at Parc Cybi, Holyhead, encompasses two main areas, one with an existing 1MW electrolyser and the other offering the potential for substantial hydrogen production expansion in the future.
