Despite the optimism surrounding white hydrogen, challenges remain in understanding the distribution of reserves and developing efficient extraction methods. The potential of white hydrogen has attracted investments from prominent figures like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos, supporting startups like Koloma, which have raised significant funding for exploration and extraction efforts. While there is excitement about the abundance of white hydrogen deposits worldwide, extracting and utilizing this resource efficiently and safely pose significant challenges. Countries like France, which have discovered substantial reserves, are now faced with the task of establishing regulatory frameworks for natural hydrogen exploration and production.
