HDF Energy, a global pioneer in hydrogen power solutions, and Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) in Vietnam have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly explore the development of green hydrogen power projects on remote islands in southern Vietnam. The MoU was signed during a high-level ceremony in Hanoi, Vietnam, attended by key representatives. Vietnam's island communities currently rely on diesel generators, leading to environmental pollution and operational instability. The partnership between HDF Energy and EVNSPC aims to introduce green hydrogen-based energy solutions to provide stable, clean electricity, promoting sustainable development. HDF Energy specializes in high-capacity renewable power plants that integrate solar parks, green hydrogen energy storage, and fuel cells for 100% clean electricity generation. Through this collaboration, the companies plan to establish a model for renewable energy deployment in off-grid areas. The partnership involves technical studies, site identification, engagement with local authorities, and knowledge-sharing on hydrogen technologies to drive sustainable energy development in Vietnam. Both organizations are dedicated to accelerating the country's energy transition and offering reliable energy solutions to underserved communities, emphasizing the importance of the France-Vietnam partnership in advancing sustainable energy development.
