The People's Government Office of Mengzhou City, China, has unveiled a comprehensive policy to bolster the development of the hydrogen energy industry in the region, set to be effective for five years. The policy outlines support for project recruitment across various segments such as hydrogen production, storage and transportation equipment, refueling facilities, fuel cell components, key materials, and services in the hydrogen energy domain. It includes subsidies for manufacturing projects investing over 50 million yuan, hydrogen energy production services reaching 10 million yuan, and R&D support for large-scale projects exceeding 500 million yuan. Additionally, the policy aims to promote the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles by endorsing the establishment of a demonstration park and facilitating the construction of hydrogen refueling stations. The initiative intends to encourage the transition to hydrogen-powered vehicles in urban public transportation, buses, and other municipal vehicles through subsidies and supportive measures, incentivizing the adoption of environmentally friendly transportation solutions.
