The partnership involves utilizing Hazer's proprietary hydrogen production technology, licensed globally through an alliance with KBR Inc, a global engineering leader. The MOU aims to develop a 90MW hydrogen facility as part of EnergyPathways' MESH integrated energy storage project, with a focus on decarbonising energy supply and mitigating Scope 3 emissions.
The collaboration will enable EnergyPathways to produce and store hydrogen for clean power generation, ammonia production, and high-quality synthetic graphite. The MESH hydrogen facility aligns with the UK government's re-industrialisation goals by establishing domestic production of critical commodities, reducing import reliance, and accelerating decarbonisation efforts.
