Torrent Power emerged as the winner in Solar Energy Corporation of India's auction to establish 600 MW interstate transmission system-connected wind power projects. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) introduced guidelines setting the validity of prototype certificates for wind turbines at three years to ensure quality standards. Additionally, the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) approved tariffs for Solar Energy Corporation of India's 600 MW wind-solar hybrid power projects. However, CERC rejected the trading margin proposal. In another development, the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission issued a draft procedure for connectivity to the intrastate transmission system, aiming to streamline access protocols. Kerala's Agency for New and Renewable Energy Research and Technology (ANERT) invited bids for demonstration projects in green hydrogen, smart energy, and industrial decarbonization.
