Badan Pengelola Investasi Daya Anagata Nusantara (Danantara Indonesia) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ACWA Power, a global leader in energy transition and green hydrogen development, to invest in renewable energy, green hydrogen production, and water desalination projects in Indonesia. ACWA Power has also formed a strategic partnership with PT Pertamina, Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company, to pursue large-scale power generation and water desalination projects. The agreements focus on collaborations to drive clean energy initiatives, including renewable projects and green hydrogen ventures. Officials from both companies expressed their commitment to supporting Indonesia's long-term energy and water security goals and contributing to a sustainable and greener future. These partnerships aim to accelerate high-impact projects in solar, hydrogen, and integrated water-energy solutions, fostering sustainable growth and enhancing energy resilience in Indonesia. By channeling resources into ventures with global players, the collaborations seek to attract foreign direct investment and lead the region's transformation towards a low-carbon economy.
