Clean Power Hydrogen PLC, a green hydrogen technology and manufacturing company based in Doncaster, Yorkshire, has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Constant Energy Ltd, an energy developer in Ireland. Constant Energy recently obtained planning permission for the Killala energy hub in County Mayo, Ireland, where they plan to establish a hydrogen and energy center. The project will integrate wind and solar energy production with Clean Power Hydrogen's membrane-free electrolyser [MFE] technology to produce green hydrogen. This hydrogen will be used in a gas peaking plant, exported to the gas grid, and utilized in a hydrogen filling station for fuel cell electric vehicles. Clean Power Hydrogen's CEO, Jon Duffy, views this agreement as a significant step towards demonstrating the commercial viability of their technology, following successful testing in a commercial setting. The company's stock price closed 3.3% higher in London after this announcement, showcasing market optimism towards this green hydrogen partnership.
