Adani Enterprises, a major player in India's business landscape, has introduced the country's first hydrogen-powered truck for promoting sustainable mining logistics. The initiative involves developing hydrogen fuel cell battery-operated trucks in collaboration with energy technology firms and auto manufacturers. Equipped with smart technology and three hydrogen tanks, these trucks have a 200-km range and can carry up to 40 tons of cargo. The first truck was flagged off in Raipur by the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and will be used for coal transportation. This move signifies a commitment to reducing carbon emissions and setting new industry standards. The project also includes innovative measures like autonomous dozer push technologies, solar power integration, and tree transplanters for environmental sustainability.
