The company showcased its fleet of zero-emission trucks and buses, including the Eicher Pro Planet Pro Business range of electric vehicles. VECV also introduced the Eicher Pro X Small Truck, designed for mid and last-mile delivery to reduce environmental impact. The company's sustainability efforts are centered around its Bhopal manufacturing facility, which is India's first commercial vehicle plant based on Industry 4.0 principles. This plant integrates digital technology, ergonomics, and environmental design, with AI-driven energy monitoring systems for optimized consumption. Notably, the plant features an all-woman assembly line for the Eicher Pro X, promoting gender inclusivity in the industry. VECV's commitment to sustainability includes offering alternative fuel solutions like LNG, CNG, and electric power, with a focus on achieving 70% renewable energy usage by FY27 and water-positive status by 2030. The company has also developed a water reservoir at its Bhopal plant with a capacity of 52 million liters.
