Envision, a leading green technology company, has joined forces with the Brazilian government to create Latin America's first Net-Zero Industrial Park in Brazil. The collaboration, announced during President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's visit to China, focuses on developing sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), green hydrogen, and ammonia. This initiative aims to establish a complete green fuel value chain, fostering a 'green oil' ecosystem that accelerates Brazil's green industrial transition. Envision's Chairman, Lei Zhang, highlighted Brazil's potential as a significant green oil production hub due to its abundant biomass and renewable electricity resources. By utilizing Envision's renewable energy systems, the park seeks to drive cost competitiveness and technological innovation in green oil production. Envision's successful Net-Zero Industrial Park model, previously implemented in Ordos, China, has been lauded by the World Economic Forum for its excellence in transitioning industrial clusters. The company plans to replicate this model in regions like Inner Mongolia, Jiangsu, and Spain, customizing each park to local resources and industrial capabilities.
