Nuberg EPC and EDL Anlagenbau Gesellschaft mbH, part of the Poerner Group, have signed a technical collaboration agreement to focus on the development of green hydrogen and its derivatives like green ammonia, green methanol, and sustainable aviation fuels. The partnership will also work on extracting high-value products from waste and introducing innovative technologies in various industries. Additionally, there is a strong emphasis on skill development and bringing these sustainable solutions to the Indian market. In Switzerland, Axpo is progressing with a remote-controlled 2.5 MW hydrogen project, aiming for unmanned plant operation and efficient hydrogen transportation. Meanwhile, European Energy's e-methanol facility in Denmark, running on renewable energy and green hydrogen, has begun supplying e-methanol at commercial scale, showcasing the practical application of Power-to-X technologies. Although some companies like Statkraft have decided to halt new green hydrogen developments due to market uncertainties, others like CPH2 are forging ahead with agreements for the construction of MFE electrolyzers in Ireland, indicating continued growth in the sector.
