JetZero is developing the Z4 aircraft, featuring an innovative all-wing design that promises significant fuel savings and an enhanced passenger experience. The Z4's interior layout will offer multiple cabin bays, wider seats, and dedicated bag space for each passenger, along with a unique double-wide entry door for quicker boarding and disembarkation. One of the standout features of the Z4 is its commitment to accessibility, ensuring wheelchair users can stay in their own devices on board. This inclusivity extends to the design of PRM/handicapped lavatories strategically placed for convenience. JetZero has secured investments from major airlines like Alaska, United, and Delta, signaling industry confidence in the aircraft's capabilities. Moreover, the Z4 will boast a 5,000 nautical mile range and the ability to utilize existing airport facilities, providing operational flexibility. Partnering with Pratt and Whitney for engine development, JetZero is set to achieve substantial fuel efficiency, with plans to incorporate Sustainable Aviation Fuel in the future. Notably, JetZero is also exploring a hydrogen-powered variant through a NASA program called AACES, acknowledging the potential of hydrogen in aviation.
