Swiss cruise line Viking recently celebrated the delivery of its newest ocean ship, Viking Vesta, from the Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri in Ancona, Italy. With a length of nearly 239 meters and 499 staterooms, the Viking Vesta is equipped to accommodate 998 guests. Notably, the ship is future technology-ready and designed for potential retrofitting of new advancements, with a focus on sustainability and eco-friendly operations. The vessel is part of Viking's commitment to incorporating hydrogen propulsion systems, evident in its existing hydrogen-powered ship, Viking Libra, and the upcoming Viking Astrea.
