The Environment and Ecology Bureau of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has given the green light to eight new hydrogen fuel pilot projects, with one of the key projects being a hydrogen fuel cell cross-border tourist bus developed by Feichi Technology and Alanbus. This initiative aims to offer efficient and zero-emission transportation solutions for the increasing personnel exchanges within the Greater Bay Area. The collaboration between Feichi Technology and Alanbus, sealed through a strategic cooperation agreement, focuses on leveraging their respective strengths in hydrogen energy technology R&D and commercial operations. With previous involvements in hydrogen projects in Hong Kong, Feichi Technology is also working on hydrogen-powered buses for construction workers and a logistics truck for cross-border transportation needs. This project not only aims to reduce carbon emissions but also foster the development of the hydrogen energy industry chain in the region. Feichi Technology plans to further expand its hydrogen energy applications in Hong Kong to promote the establishment of a sustainable and eco-friendly transportation system.
