In Bhubaneswar, Housing and Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra has instructed CRUT officials to crack down on ticketless travel to reduce revenue loss. During a review meeting, he outlined a strategic roadmap for urban mobility in Odisha, emphasizing KPI-based incentives, capacity-building, and digital transformation. The Minister also announced the introduction of three hydrogen fuel cell buses, a significant step towards green mobility. CRUT's Managing Director briefed the Minister on infrastructure developments and expansion plans to improve public transportation services. Currently operating 560 buses across 106 routes, CRUT plays a vital role in creating a modern and inclusive transport system in Odisha.
