The International Solar Alliance (ISA) will host the Seventh Regional Committee Meeting (RCM) for the Asia and the Pacific Region in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 15–17 July 2025. The meeting aims to bring together stakeholders to advance solar deployment strategies. With the theme of 'Advancing Solar Cooperation Across a Region of Diversity and Opportunity', the focus will be on dialogue, knowledge exchange, and action to strengthen the region's leadership in the global solar transition. The meeting will address catalytic finance, technology innovation, policy development, and the integration of solutions like Green Hydrogen and energy storage. Thematic sessions will explore operationalizing a SIDS Solar Platform, strengthening institutional capacity, accelerating Green Hydrogen, energy storage, and E-mobility, and advancing regional interconnections. The RCM will also involve signing Country Partnership Frameworks and Partnership Agreements to enhance solar initiatives and collaborations in the region.
