Aslan Energy Capital recently hosted a tender clarification workshop in Batam for a significant solar power project in Indonesia. The 1,200 MWp utility-scale solar plant, part of Aslan's sustainable hydrogen hub initiative, aims to link clean power generation to green hydrogen production. Positioned in the Riau Islands, the project supports Indonesia's renewable energy goals and positions Batam as a key energy hub in Southeast Asia. The solar project, set to be Indonesia's largest, will power green hydrogen production for export, emphasizing energy innovation and environmental commitment. By utilizing depleted post-mining lands for the solar farm, the project will contribute to environmental rehabilitation and create over 2,000 local jobs, along with social impact programs. The RFQ process attracted 31 global expressions of interest, with 17 prequalified bidders, showcasing strong international confidence and competition in the initiative.
