Skoda Electric, a member of the Volkswagen Group and a prominent automaker in Central and Eastern Europe, aims to leverage Hyundai's expertise in hydrogen fuel cell systems to develop hydrogen-powered vehicles. Through the MOU, the companies plan to collaborate on hydrogen fuel cell systems and technology supply, research for efficient energy solutions in mobility projects, and explore opportunities in hydrogen ecosystems beyond transportation. Skoda Electric, known for its eco-friendly vehicles, introduced a hydrogen bus in 2022, indicating its commitment to sustainable transportation solutions.
