The German transmission system operator GASCADE and the UK's Gas National Transmission System operator National Gas have joined forces to explore the establishment of a hydrogen corridor between the two countries. This initiative, facilitated by an offshore pipeline interconnection, signifies a significant development in building a secure, resilient, and sustainable European energy system. The project, known as the UK-Germany Hydrogen Corridor, involves linking the UK's hydrogen production potential with Germany's hydrogen demand through the AquaDuctus pipeline in the German North Sea.
