The steel-cutting ceremony of a 60T Bollard Pull Tug for Visakhapatnam Port Authority at HSL's hull shop marked a significant milestone, symbolizing HSL's consistent progress in the maritime sector. During the event, the focus was also on HSL's future plans, particularly the development of environmentally friendly Green Tugs powered by electricity and hydrogen, aimed at reducing carbon emissions. The Chairperson of Visakhapatnam Port Authority, M Angamuthu, praised HSL for its transformation, emphasizing the importance of the tug for port operations as VPA aims for significant growth in cargo handling.
