HHP Five Private Limited, a subsidiary of Hygenco Green Energies, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Green Ammonia Plant in Gopalpur, Odisha, with the presence of the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Odisha and industry leaders. The plant aims to produce 1.1 million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) in three phases, beginning in 2028 and reaching full capacity by 2030. Amit Bansal, the Co-founder and CEO of Hygenco Green Energies, highlighted the project's significance in advancing India's Green Ammonia landscape, supporting decarbonization efforts in industries, and creating employment opportunities. Hygenco, headquartered in Gurgaon, is committed to deploying 10 GW of green hydrogen and ammonia assets by 2030, aligning with India's net-zero targets and leading the global clean energy transition. The company has already completed successful projects in various locations and has a portfolio of projects in progress. The Green Ammonia plant in Gopalpur is strategically positioned to meet both domestic and international demand for green ammonia, contributing to decarbonization efforts across industries and supporting India's vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
