Under the India-EU Trade and Technology Council, India and the European Union have jointly launched two research and innovation calls focusing on marine plastic pollution and green hydrogen production. The total investment for these initiatives amounts to ₹391 crore. These efforts are co-funded by Horizon Europe and respective government bodies in India.
