During the 22nd session of the India-Italy Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation (JCEC), India and Italy have decided to enhance their partnership by setting up joint working groups in various sectors. The collaboration will encompass automobiles, space, green hydrogen, and biofuels. Both nations have agreed to prioritize cooperation in areas like industry 4.0, aerospace, energy transition, and sustainable mobility. Additionally, they aim to strengthen ties in agriculture, food processing, and renewable energy, with a focus on sustainable agri-value chains and agri-machinery. Skill development, digital transformation, and global connectivity initiatives are also on the agenda for joint efforts. The partnership also aims to facilitate the movement of skilled professionals between India and Italy. A high-level Growth Forum was organized on the sidelines, bringing CEOs and industry leaders together to explore business opportunities and industrial collaborations. This initiative showcases a positive sentiment towards collaboration and mutual growth between India and Italy.
