IndianOil has made a significant move towards advancing India's clean energy goals by finalizing the Levelized Cost of Hydrogen for establishing a 10,000 Tonnes Per Annum Green Hydrogen Generation Unit at its Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex. This initiative represents IndianOil's entry into the green hydrogen sector with the country's largest green hydrogen project to date. The production of Green Hydrogen at this facility will replace fossil-derived Hydrogen in refinery operations, leading to a notable decrease in Carbon emissions. This project is fully in line with the Prime Minister's vision for the National Green Hydrogen Mission and is a strategic step in IndianOil's decarbonization journey. By aiming to achieve its Net Zero target, IndianOil is strengthening its position as a leader in India's sustainable energy transition. Scheduled to be operational by December 2027, this endeavor underscores IndianOil's dedication to a greener and more environmentally friendly future.
