Juno Joule Green Energy has recently announced a significant partnership with Select Energy GmbH during the World Hydrogen Summit 2025. The memorandum of understanding designates Select Energy as a co-developer and anchor offtaker for Juno Joule's flagship green hydrogen and ammonia facility at Mulapeta Port in Andhra Pradesh, India. This collaboration represents one of the largest integrated green hydrogen projects in the country. The project is strategically targeting key export markets including Europe, Japan, South Korea, and India, with a production goal of 180 KTPA of green hydrogen by 2031. The facility will uphold EU certification norms such as RED II, RED III, and RFNBO to ensure its status as a reliable international supplier. Select Energy's involvement encompasses equity investment, the development of pipeline-connected export infrastructure, and securing long-term offtake agreements. Their contribution will also extend to hydrogen logistics, trading, and compliance expertise. In addition to the economic benefits, the project is set to create approximately 6,000 work opportunities and aims to avoid 1.8 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. This initiative aligns with India's National Green Hydrogen Mission, further solidifying Andhra Pradesh's position as a critical export hub.
