TÜV Rheinland, a global leader in independent technical services, has awarded its first Pre-Certification in India to Avaada Group for the production of Green Hydrogen and Green Ammonia. The certification was granted to Avaada GH2 Private Limited for its renewable energy-powered hydrogen-ammonia plant in Gopalpur, Odisha. This plant has a production capacity of 0.5 MMTPA of Green Ammonia and will cater to both domestic and international customers. The certification ensures that the production, storage, and transportation of Green Ammonia are conducted in a climate-neutral manner, meeting the requirements of the European Union's Renewable Energy Directive II (RED II) regulations. The achievement signifies Avaada's commitment to environmental excellence and sustainability. Mr. Vineet Mittal, Chairman of Avaada Group, expressed pride in securing the Design Stage Certification and highlighted the company's compliance with EU regulations and dedication to reducing environmental impact.
