In a significant development, Broaden Energy and KEZAD Group have partnered to establish the largest hydrogen manufacturing facility in the Middle East at KEZAD Area A in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This collaboration involves a 50-year land lease agreement to set up an 80,000 square metre state-of-the-art facility dedicated to producing hydrogen generation, refueling, and storage systems using renewable energy sources like hydrogen, solar, and wind power. The AED 455 million investment by Broaden Energy will not only boost local manufacturing capabilities but also create approximately 1000 direct permanent jobs, contributing to economic growth in the region. Abdullah Al Hameli, CEO of Economic Cities and Free Zones, emphasized the importance of renewable energy for Abu Dhabi's economic development and the alignment with the UAE Energy Strategy 2050. Adnan Sokolija, CEO of Broaden Energy, highlighted the partnership with KEZAD as a strategic move towards advancing clean energy solutions and supporting Abu Dhabi's clean energy development objectives.
