- Both companies are committed to advancing the build and deployment of MFE units, with a joint goal of quickly expanding the adoption of green hydrogen technology.
Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2) has activated a licensed manufacturing partnership with Kenera, a company specializing in hydrocarbons and renewables products and a subsidiary of Helmerich & Payne (H&P). CPH2, based in Doncaster, has submitted its manufacturing and design licence documentation to Kenera, allowing them to review the final Membrane-Free Electrolysers (MFE) design packages. The agreement grants Kenera a non-exclusive licence to sell and manufacture MFE products in several countries, including Germany, Scotland, Azerbaijan, Denmark, and Norway, and an exclusive licence in the Middle East up to 2GW. Kenera will now initiate production planning and collaborate with CPH2 on MFE design transfer, assembly, testing, staff training, and supplier onboarding. Both companies aim to expedite production and deployment to further the utilization of green hydrogen technology. Jon Duffy, CEO of Clean Power Hydrogen, and Rebecca Clarke, senior vice president of Kenera, express enthusiasm for the partnership and the acceleration of green hydrogen technology adoption.
