Vision Grid Energy (VGE) and Desein, two engineering firms, have joined forces to drive the development of clean energy solutions in India. The strategic partnership between the Spain-headquartered VGE and India's Desein is aimed at supporting India's decarbonization efforts and fostering regional cooperation in sustainable energy projects. Together, the companies plan to work on hybrid renewable energy systems that integrate various technologies like solar, wind, battery energy storage, and thermal solutions. Additionally, they will focus on advancing green hydrogen production and its derivative fuels such as ammonia and methanol. The collaboration also includes activities related to techno-economic feasibility studies, project engineering, and enhancing the skills of energy professionals. VGE sees this partnership as a significant move in its global expansion strategy, with a particular emphasis on the Indian market, which is a key player in the global energy landscape. The goal is to introduce innovative energy storage and hydrogen solutions to support India's ambitious target of achieving 500 GW of non-fossil energy capacity by 2030.
