GameChange Solar has signed a contract with ACME Greentech Ventures FZCO to provide its Genius Tracker™ 1P Single Row system for a 450 MWp solar project in Duqm, Sultanate of Oman. The project will support the operation of one of the world's largest green hydrogen and ammonia production facilities, marking a crucial milestone in Oman's shift towards clean energy. Despite facing challenges like high temperatures, strong winds, and corrosive coastal conditions, GameChange Solar's Genius Tracker™ is tailored to excel in such extreme environments, ensuring structural durability and optimal energy yield. The Green Ammonia Project, developed by ACME, is part of Oman's national hydrogen strategy and will be implemented in multiple phases. The initial phase is set to generate 100,000 tonnes of green ammonia yearly, with future phases planning to increase production capacities significantly. Once fully operational, the facility aims to produce 0.9 million tonnes of green ammonia annually. The collaboration between GameChange Solar and ACME demonstrates a commitment to environmentally sustainable energy solutions.
