The Energy Export Initiative by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action facilitated discussions on potential partnerships in clean energy. HE Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer highlighted the importance of the UAE-Germany collaboration in positioning the UAE as a global leader in clean energy. The meeting aimed to strengthen partnerships, share expertise, and enhance technological advancements, particularly in green hydrogen production and storage. Notable German companies like FEV Group, MAN Energy Solutions, Hexagon Purus, and MoveTech, known for their expertise in energy systems and sustainable mobility, were part of the delegation. DEWA's initiatives, including the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, underscore Dubai's commitment to a green economy and achieving 100% clean energy production by 2050. The park's expansion phases, focusing on solar PV technologies and solar-plus-storage projects, are pivotal in meeting Dubai's clean energy goals. The collaborative efforts align with the UAE's ambitions of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050 and fostering a sustainable green economy.
