ACME Group has officially announced plans to set up India's first green hydrogen facility in Gopalpur, Odisha. The inauguration took place during an event for industrial projects at the Tata Steel Special Economic Zone, attended by Odisha's Chief Minister and other dignitaries. The project, aimed at contributing to India's transition to renewable energy, will be located within the special economic zone. The facility is set to produce 400,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually, offering significant employment opportunities. ACME Group has also partnered with a Japanese company to receive the entire output from 2029, aligning with Japan's emission reduction targets and India's Green Hydrogen Mission. This collaboration highlights international cooperation in clean energy and marks a milestone in India's renewable energy sector growth.
