The ACME Group has reiterated its commitment to establishing its first green hydrogen project in India at Gopalpur, Odisha. This announcement was made during the Groundbreaking and Inauguration Ceremony for five industrial projects at the Tata Steel Special Economic Zone in Gopalpur Industrial Estate. The project, set to be within Tata SEZ, aims to decarbonize hard-to-abate sectors and support India's transition to a greener future. With an annual capacity of 400,000 tonnes of Green Ammonia, the initiative is expected to create more than 1,000 employment opportunities, further contributing to the economic growth of the region. ACME Group's strategic partnership with a global Japanese corporation to supply green ammonia from the Odisha facility from 2029 onwards highlights its dedication to sustainability, Japan's Net Zero goals, and India's National Green Hydrogen Mission. The company's commitment to accelerating the adoption of green hydrogen and ammonia globally demonstrates its leadership in delivering sustainability-driven solutions.
