Malaysia has achieved significant success at Expo 2025 Osaka, securing over RM8 billion in potential investments and signing 20 memoranda of understanding (MoUs). This achievement, as described by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof, represents a major step towards the country's RM13 billion target for the event. The deals signed, involving 101 Malaysian companies, focus on key growth areas such as renewable energy, green hydrogen, smart facilities, caregiving innovation, and digital solutions, showcasing Malaysia's proactive role in sustainable development and inclusive innovation. Fadillah also highlighted Sarawak's role in Malaysia's hydrogen economy roadmap, emphasizing its potential as a regional hub for clean energy collaboration. The Malaysia Pavilion, themed 'Weaving a Future in Harmony', has already attracted over one million visitors and serves as a platform for business activities and networking. With support from numerous government entities, Malaysia's participation at Expo 2025 aims to position the country as a trusted global partner in various sectors, including sustainable agriculture, environmental management, and the halal industry.
