The upcoming "Energy Asia 2025" conference in Kuala Lumpur, themed "Delivering Asia's Energy Transition", will provide a platform for Malaysia and the region to evaluate the progress made towards energy transition goals and reinforce their commitments to achieving net-zero objectives. Set to take place from June 16 to 18, the conference is strategically timed amidst the shift from traditional oil to renewable energy and the adoption of new technologies such as hydrogen and carbon capture. With Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expected to deliver a keynote address, the event will host 180 globally renowned speakers and attract over 4,000 delegates, including policymakers, energy professionals, and industry leaders. The conference agenda includes sessions on "Energy Present, Energy Future: Pathways for Asia's Just Transition" and a leadership dialogue on "Energy at the Crossroads: Policies, Technologies, and Investments". Noteworthy attendees will include high-profile figures like Petronas president, OPEC secretary general, Saudi Aramco president, and CNPC Economics & Technology Research Institute president.
