Gautam Adani, the key figure behind the Adani Group in India, has introduced the country's first hydrogen fuel cell truck to promote eco-friendly transportation. These trucks, developed in collaboration with energy technology and auto manufacturing companies, aim to replace diesel vehicles in Adani Group's logistics. Equipped with smart technology and hydrogen tanks, each truck has a 200-kilometer range and can carry up to 40 tons of cargo. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister flagged off the first truck in Raipur, symbolizing the state's dedication to sustainability. Adani Group's focus on decarbonization and responsible mining includes implementing autonomous dozer push technologies, solar power utilization, and tree relocating practices. The hydrogen fuel cell vehicles boast emission-free operations, matching diesel trucks in range and load capacity while emitting only water vapor and warm air.
