Angel Wileman, the manager of SwRI's Thermofluids Section, has been recognized for her leadership in the hydrogen economy by being selected for the Women in Hydrogen 50 list. This prestigious accolade highlights her significant contributions to advancing hydrogen technology and promoting its role in creating a sustainable energy future. Wileman's work involves projects related to hydrogen and natural gas blends, heavy-duty hydrogen refueling technology, and the establishment of the H2HD REFUEL consortium aimed at facilitating the adoption of hydrogen fuel. In addition to her professional achievements, Wileman actively mentors aspiring engineers, especially girls and young women, encouraging them to pursue careers in STEM fields. Her dedication to promoting engineering and fostering the next generation of talent has earned her recognition, including the 2019 Empowering Women in Industry Leadership in STEM Award.
