Plug Power Inc. has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Allied Green Ammonia (AGA), focusing on green hydrogen production. The new 2 gigawatt (GW) electrolyzer opportunity in Uzbekistan for a sustainable fuels project signifies a key step in global decarbonization efforts. The project in Uzbekistan involves the construction of a $5.5 billion green chemical production facility supported by the Government of Uzbekistan, which will produce sustainable aviation fuel, green urea, and green diesel, utilizing Plug's electrolyzer technology. The collaboration between Plug Power and Allied Green extends to Australia, where a 3 GW electrolyzer commitment is underway for a green ammonia facility.
