Danish cleantech company Hymeth has successfully secured €3.7 million in funding to accelerate the commercial rollout of their innovative green hydrogen systems. The company, stemming from the Nordic innovation ecosystem, has created a groundbreaking alkaline electrolysis platform that enables the cost-effective and scalable production of green hydrogen with an impressive 84% efficiency, independently verified without the need for rare or expensive materials. Hymeth's initial 25kW system is ready for field deployment, with plans to develop 250kW units to cater to the demand for fossil-free solutions in various industrial sectors and energy nodes prioritizing supply security. The investment round, spearheaded by Thisbe AB and with support from current shareholders like Antler, ensures the company's employment strategy and strategic partnerships stay on course. This financial boost will facilitate the introduction of energy-efficient electrolysis technology, fostering industrial decarbonization not only in the Nordics but also globally.
