Hyundai unveiled its groundbreaking project, the HTWO Energy Savannah, at the ACT Expo, aiming to establish a scalable hydrogen truck station near the bustling Port of Savannah, Georgia. This initiative is designed to cater to Class-8 heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles, offering a convenient refueling location for zero-emissions trucks in the Savannah region. Hyundai's partnership with HTWO Logistics, HydroFleet, and Capital Development Partners highlights the collaborative effort to build the HTWO Energy Savannah facility, scheduled to commence operations in late fall 2025. The station is set to produce 1,200 kilograms of hydrogen per day initially, with plans for expansion to 4,200 kilograms daily to meet the rising demand for zero-emission trucking. Jim Park, SVP of commercial vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell business at Hyundai Motor North America, emphasized the significance of this hydrogen station in enabling fast-fill operations for heavy-duty trucks, underlining the company's commitment to HMGMA Clean Logistics.
