The Hopu Engineering Consortium, led by Houpu Clean Energy Group, has secured the EPC general contract for the Three Gorges Renewables Beihai Green Electricity Hydrogen Production Demonstration Project in Beihai City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China. This project, located 15 kilometers from the city center, aims to showcase a comprehensive demonstration of green power generation, hydrogen production, storage, refueling, and transportation applications. The consortium's responsibilities include survey, design, procurement, construction, and R&D tasks for megawatt-class off-grid AEM water electrolysis hydrogen production technology. By implementing this project, Beihai City is poised to undergo a green energy transformation, foster the local hydrogen energy industry chain, localize key technologies, and demonstrate the potential of regional green energy initiatives. The project is seen as a pivotal step towards large-scale deployment of hydrogen technologies. This success underscores Houpu's proficiency in the hydrogen sector, particularly in industry chain synergy, technological integration, and sustainable energy development.
