The hydrogen refuelling facility at SEDC Energy-owned PETROS Multifuel Station in Batu Kawa, Kuching, is undergoing testing and commissioning. The station is supplying hydrogen to five Toyota Mirai Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs) as part of a trial, including vehicles used by prominent figures in Sarawak. A key milestone was marked with the first interstation delivery of green hydrogen in Malaysia, highlighting the city's progress in adopting green energy solutions. The facility, receiving hydrogen from an on-site plant at Darul Hana, is built to international safety standards and offers multiple fuel options to the public. This initiative is part of a larger network of PETROS MFS stations across Sarawak, aiming to establish a hydrogen refuelling infrastructure supporting the state's environmental and economic goals. Future plans include the development of additional flagship MFS stations along the Pan Borneo Highway to further enhance Sarawak's green energy capabilities.
