The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the Green Hydrogen Valley initiative as part of the Amaravati Declaration, with the goal of positioning the state as India's leading green hydrogen hub by 2030. With an emphasis on innovation, Andhra Pradesh plans to support start-ups, drive joint ventures with global firms, and invest in R&D facilities. Leveraging its renewable energy potential and coastal location, the state aims to lead in green hydrogen exports to Southeast Asia. The establishment of an Integrated Green Hydrogen Skilling Ecosystem, partnerships with universities, and plans for knowledge exchange platforms highlight the commitment to capacity building and skill development in the sector. By fostering collaborations with global organizations like the World Economic Forum, Andhra Pradesh seeks to accelerate its energy transition and bolster green industrial growth in the region.
