BGR Tech Ltd, based in Chennai, has entered into a Heads of Agreement (HOA) with Chemie Tech, headquartered in Sharjah, UAE. This partnership focuses on collaborative efforts for green hydrogen and ammonia projects on a multi-megawatt scale globally. BGR Tech will be responsible for supplying core green hydrogen generation and purification systems, including electrolysers, along with providing engineering support. On the other hand, Chemie Tech will oversee end-to-end project execution, covering activities such as Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), design, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC), and Operations and Maintenance (O&M). Chemie-Tech DMCC, a subsidiary of Chemie Tech, boasts a rich background of over 25 years in the fields of oil, gas, and renewable energy projects across 15 countries with a substantial workforce of 3,500 individuals. The primary goal of this partnership is to expedite the worldwide adoption of green hydrogen by offering scalable, sustainable energy solutions. By combining the expertise of both companies, the collaboration aims to play a significant role in driving the shift towards cleaner energy sources and promoting environmental sustainability at a global level.
